Ball valve ball is used to control the fluid flow state in the fluid transmission pipeline, because of the simple structure of the ball valve, easy installation and maintenance, good sealing performance, no internal leakage, small size and other advantages, much loved by market users. Different ball valve blank forging processing methods are different, then what are the specific spherical blank forging processing?
1. According to the temperature of the ball blank forging
(1) Hot forging: heating the blank to a certain temperature and then forging is called hot forging.
(2) Cold forging: forging the blank at room temperature is called cold forging. The tonnage of forging equipment required for cold forging is large. Cold forging can obtain forgings with higher precision and strength and a smoother surface.
(3) Warm forging: the heating temperature of the blank is less than the temperature of hot forging. It requires less equipment tonnage than cold forging, and can forge forgings with higher strength and rougher surface, which is a new process currently under development.
2. According to the force of the ball blank
(1) Manual forging processing: rely on the hand forging box manpower strike, the blank forging into a predetermined shape of the forgings on the anvil.
(2) Machine forging: relying on forging tools to make blanks into forgings in various forging equipment. Machine forging according to the different equipment and tools used, can be divided into free forging, model forging, tire forging and special forging four categories:
① Free forging: It is the metal billet heated to a certain temperature is placed between the anvil of the free forging equipment for forging, and the operator controls the deformation of the metal to obtain the expected shape of the forging.
② Model forging: referred to as die forging. It is a production method that places metal billets heated to a certain temperature into the mold cavity fixed on the die forging equipment for forging and limits its deformation, so as to obtain forging parts consistent with the mold cavity.
③ Fetal forging: referred to as fetal forging. It is a deformation mode between free forging and die forging. The metal blank heated to a certain temperature is obtained by free forging through the tire film that is not fixed on the free forging equipment.
④ Special forging: It is a forging process method for forming metal billets on special equipment or in special molds. Such as precision forging, roll forging rolling, ring rolling, spiral skew rolling, transverse rolling, extrusion forming, etc.
