The high and medium pressure pneumatic ball valve is composed of a three piece ball valve with a pneumatic actuator. The pneumatic actuator is divided into double acting and single acting types, and is controlled by an electromagnetic valve to achieve the opening and closing action of the ball valve. 1. Low fluid resistance, high and medium pressure pneumatic ball valves are the least fluid resistance among all valve types. Even for reduced diameter high and medium pressure pneumatic ball valves, their fluid resistance is relatively small.
2. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, which can make the valve stem operate smoothly and flexibly for a long time.
3. The sealing performance of the valve seat is good, and the sealing ring is made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, which is easy to seal. Moreover, the sealing capacity of the high and medium pressure pneumatic ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.
4. The valve stem seal is reliable. As the valve stem only rotates without lifting, the packing seal of the valve stem is not easily damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with the increase of medium pressure.
5. Due to the good self-lubricating properties of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene and the small friction loss with the sphere, the service life of high and medium pressure pneumatic ball valves is long.
6. The bottom mounted valve stem and the convex step at the head of the valve stem prevent the valve stem from spraying out. In case of fire causing damage to the valve stem seal, metal contact can also be formed between the convex step and the valve body to ensure the valve stem is sealed.
